To determine our drill location we will find the closest truss
relative to our “X”.
In this example we will install our motor with the trusses
running left to right. Our trusses are 24” on center. From our
“X” on the ceiling we would measure 1” to the left, to get the
center of our mounting track. We would then drill our pilot hole
in the center of the truss 1” left of the “X”.
From that drill location you would measure back to your “X” to
determine how to mount your tracks to the motor, ensuring
proper alignment and location.
