CAUTION:
Do not leave the device turned on for too long. The high temperature could buckle the plastic and
injure the operator. It is recommended after about three minutes to turn off the device for at least 30
seconds.
NOTE:
For the best results, first do a test cut.

- Consult foam manufacturer's MSDS sheet for flash points and toxicity of material to be cut.
- Always operate the Hot Knife in well ventilated space.
- Never burn off excess residue on the hot knife blade. The blades will overheat, warping the blade and
potentially overheating the Hot Knife.
- Keep hot blades away from skin, clothing and other flammable materials.
- Allow blades to cool before handling. A hot blade may cause injury or burns to exposed surfaces.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Before carrying out any inspection or maintenance work, remove the plug from the electrical socket.
- Keep the device and its air vents clean. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning. Never use cleaning
agents or solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia or the like! Solvents can damage the plastic parts of
the product.
- Repairs to the equipment should be carried out by the manufacturer, its service department or similarly
qualified person to avoid danger.
ENVIROMENTAL PROTECTION
The symbol of the cross-out wheelie bin on the products or in the accompanying documents
means that the used electrical and electronic products must not be added to normal
municipal waste. For proper disposal, recovery and recycling, deliver these products to
designated collection points where they will be received free of charge. Alternatively, in
some countries you can return your products to a local retailer when buying an equivalent
new product. Proper disposal of this product will help to conserve valuable natural resources
