BEFORE FIRST USE
Adding oil
The lawnmower is supplied without motor oil. Before first start up, add motor oil (SAE
15W-40) according to the following instructions:
1. Place the lawnmower on a level surface.
2. Remove the oil tank cap with oil gauge.
3. Add oil to the tank.
4. After adding oil refit the oil tank cap with oil gauge.
5. The oil level must be between the upper (Max.) and lower (MIN.) limit.
CAUTION: DO NOT OVERFILL
the oil tank, otherwise a large amount of smoke will
come out of the exhaust when the lawnmower is started up.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Check the oil level before every use of the lawnmower.
Add oil if necessary.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Replace the oil after first 5 hours of operation and
subsequently after every 25 hours of operation.
Fuel handling
- WARNING!
Fuels mixed with alcohol or fuels with ethanol or methane can bind moisture to each other,
which can lead to separation and acid formation during storage. Acid fumes can damage the lawnmower's
engine fuel system during storage. These fuels must not be used in the lawnmower.
- The four-stroke engine runs exclusively on pure unleaded petrol with an octane rating of at least 95 (E 10).
- WARNING!
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. There is a risk of burns when refueling or
explosion. Follow these instructions when refueling:
- Store petrol in suitable containers, in a safe place, at a sufficient distance from heat sources and open flames.
- Keep petrol containers out of the reach of children.
- Do not smoke and avoid inhalation of fumes while refueling.
- Make sure there is adequate ventilation in the room where refueling takes place.
