Replacing the Power Supply Fan Assembly

1. Lower the fan into place, being sure to guide its base over the tabs (

Figure A-17

). You may have to maneuver data cables to fit the fan into place.

2. Reconnect the connector (

Figure A-17

) onto the power backplane.

3. Replace the screw (

Figure A-17

) on the fan assembly.

4. Replace the CPU-I/O enclosure cover and CPU-I/O enclosure, as described in the

Stratus ftServer V 6512 System: Operation and Maintenance Guide

(R674) or

Stratus ftServer V 2404, V 4408, and V 6408 Systems: Operation and
