5.1.4
Replacing the suction filter
The suction filter should be replaced every 3 years. This should be done by a STRANGKO fitter. At the
same occasion the fitter will remove possible condensed water and dirt from the bottom of the tank.
5.1.5 Safety
valve
The installation is equipped with a safety valve which ensures that the pressure in the hydraulic system
does not exceed the opening pressure, to which the valve has been adjusted. In this way you are sure,
that the installation is not exposed to a pressure which can damage the pump and the pipe/hose connec-
tions.
The safety valve is adjusted by the STRANGKO fitter when installing the installation. The adjustment of
the safety valve should only be done by the STRANGKO fitter.
The scrapers are mounted using special CINTER BRASS - bushing, which ensure troublefree movement.
The scrapers do therefore not have to be oiled.
When replacing the scrapers you should keep in mind that it is very important - for safety
reasons - to mount scrapers with the correct lenght to the width of the gutter. There should be a distance
between the scraper and the edge of the gutter of at least 5 cm. If the end of the canal is not covered,
there should be 15 cm from the end scraper to the end of the canal when the scraper is at the back posi-
tion. (Refer to scheme below).

Canal width should totally be 5 cm broader than the
total width of the 2 scrapers. See below calcula-
tions:

of the scraper. If the end of the canal is not covered
