Under no circumstances turn off the machine for risk of irreversible damage and loss of the
Guarantee.
12 – At the final stage, the NMT system will automatically reboot; your AivX-391NMT is ready.
3) NMT set up assistant
To install the NMT applications, you need to have a Linux EXT3 formatted “HMS multimedia cartridge”
installed in your AivX-391NMT.
a) Installation of NMT applications directly from the Internet.
1 – Select the Menus Setup  Maintenance  NMT configuration assistant,
2 – Choose between a “New installation” or "Default Installation", installation / reinstallation of NMT
applications with any loss of data on the hard disk.
3 – In the case of a ‘New installation’, select the disk which will support the NMT applications,
4 – Choose ‘EXT3' as the format type and accept the warning which will destroy all data on the internal
hard drive.
5 – Choose location for the ‘NMT Applications’ download file: via the Internet.
6 – Wait for the formatting process to be completed from ‘0 to 100%’, without touching the product.
Under no circumstances should the device be switched off in case due to the risk of meeting
incompatibility problems...
7 – At the final stage, the NMT system will automatically reboot; your AivX-391NMT is ready.
8 – Perform a ‘Reset system’ :
Select the Menus Setup  Maintenance  Return to Factory Settings
b) NMT Application Installation by USB
Regularly check our internet site: www.storex.eu - “Download & Support” section to get the latest
information on the newest available updates for the AivX-391NMT.
1 – Download the NMT Applications update files from our site.
2 – Copy the file to a USB device of your choice (Key / Disk etc): ‘syb8634.bin’
3 – Connect the USB device to one of the two USB Host Ports of the AivX-391NMT,
4 – Check that it is well recognised with the following message being displayed: ‘USB Device connected’,
5 – Select the Menus Setup  Maintenance  NMT configuration assistant,
6 – Choose between a “New installation” or "Default Installation", installation / reinstallation of NMT
applications without any loss of data on the hard disk.
7 – In the case of a ‘New installation’, select the disk which will support the NMT applications,
8 – Choose ‘EXT3' as the format type and accept the warning which will destroy all data on the internal
hard drive.
9 – Choose location for the ‘NMT Applications’ download file: by USB.
