Detailed Network Configuration - Wired
1) Automatic
(Wired)
IP Configuration
, selected by default:
The AivX-391NMT is able to detect the ‘DHCP’ network automatically. You must have a (xxBox) router to
be able to use it.
1. Select "Automatic (Wired) IP"
2. Click on the “Configure” button
3. The ‘DNS Address Setup’ option is configured ‘Automatically’ by default
If you want to change it, click on this box once to select the ‘Manual’ Mode and enter the relative DNS
information:
- Primary DNS (can only be used for the Internet)
- Secondary DNS (can only be used for the Internet)
4. Save your configuration and you are now connected by wire to your local network.
2) Manual IP Configuration
(Wired):
1. Select “Manual IP (Wired)”
2. Click on the “Configure” button
3. Enter the relevant information for your local network configuration:
- IP Address
- Sub network mask
- Gateway (Frequently the IP of the router/xxBox)
- Primary DNS (can only be used for the Internet)
- Secondary DNS (can only be used for the Internet)
4. Save your configuration and you are now connected by wire to your local network.
Detailed Network Configuration – Wireless (WiFi Option)
The AivX-391NMT is compatible with Wireless networks using a WiFi N USB2 Key (Broadband 300Mbps) sold
separately as an optional extra.
1) USB WiFi N
Adapter
:
Plug the adapter into one of the 2 USB2 Host ports and the options ‘Wireless Auto & Manual’ will appear in
the ‘Mode’ menu.
2) Automatic WiFi IP Configuration
(Wireless):
Exactly the same as the 'Wired' configuration, you must have a compatible WiFi N (xxBox) router to be able
to use this.
3) Manual WiFi IP Configuration
(Wireless):
Exactly the same as the 'Wired' configuration, you must have a compatible WiFi N (xxBox) router to be able
to use this.
4) SSID Configuration
1. After having configured the ‘IP Mode’, click on the “Save” button to continue with your configuration.
