3.1.2.1 Select an Available Double-High Adapter Slot
The rear of the host computer has several slots in which to mount single-high and double-
high adapters (see Figure 3-1). Note that HP-PB adapter requires one double-high slot. A
double-high slot comprises two single-high slots.

1. Select an available double-high slot.
2. Loosen the captive screws holding the single-high slot cover plates and remove the two
cover plates for the two single-high slots.
3. Remove the single-high slot divider to create a double-high slot.
