NOTICE
Make sure the ends of the drive tube are
clean.
Attaching Stub Shaft to Support Frame

Use strap (2) to secure control
handle (1) to the accessory bag.
Connecting the Drive Tube
N
Put the unit on the ground. Make
sure it is secure.
N
Place the stub shaft on the ground.
N
Pull the cap off the drive tube and
keep it in a safe place.
N
Examine ends of drive tube for dirt
and clean if necessary.
N
Push the lug (1) on the drive tube
into the slot (2) in the coupling
sleeve as far as stop.
When correctly installed, the red line (3)
(arrow point) must be flush with the end
of the coupling sleeve.
N
Tighten down the star knob (4)
firmly.
Mounting the Transport Guard
The type of transport guard depends on
the metal cutting attachment supplied
with the machine. Transport guards are
available as special accessories.
