Replacing the Wear Guard

Remove the cutting blade - see
"Mounting the Cutting Blade".

Remove the thrust plate (3).
N
Take out the screws (4).
N
Fit the new wear guard (5).
N
Insert the screws (4) and tighten
them down firmly.
N
Fit the thrust plate (3).

Mount the cutting blade - see
"Mounting the Cutting Blade".
The following intervals apply to normal
operating conditions only. If your daily
working time is longer or operating
conditions are difficult (very dusty work
area, etc.), shorten the specified
intervals accordingly.
Accessible screws and nuts (not
wingnut for depth wheel)

Check and retighten if necessary

Visual inspection before starting

Check tightness of wingnut before

Have replaced if necessary – see
