Maintenance work
If the equipment is used in Smoke/Heat Extraction Systems (SHE for short) it must be checked, maintained and if
necessary repaired once a year. This is also recommended for systems that are ventilation only.
Remove soiling from the equipment. Check the fastening and clamping screws for a tight fit. Test the equipment using a
test run. The motor drive is maintenance free. Faulty equipment may only be repaired in our works. Only original spare
parts are to be used. Check the equipment is ready to run on a regular basis. A maintenance contract is recommended
to cover this.

* The type of drive construction determines its suitability for installation in humid environments. An IP classification
defines test conditions regarding foreign objects and water, but provides no evidence of suitability for particular intended
uses. Drives for humid environments are not necessarily suitable as standard for aggressive climatic conditions.
When dimensioning the power supply and the cable cross-sections for the supply lines to the motors as a function of the
control panels used, the increased currents associated with start-up torques must be taken into account!
Trouble-free and safe operation is only warranted when used in conjunction with appropriate manufacturers control unit.
Request a technical conformity declaration when using drives from other manufacturers.
