Destination and use
To display status information, the »CAN extension board 4 W« adds
four relay outputs to the security radio receiver »RF RxT SW2.4 -safe
24VDC«, hereinafter referred to as »Safe Receiver«.
Notices
- Mounting, electrical installation, commissioning and maintenance
must be performed by qualified personnel only.
- No galvanic isolation between CAN bus and supply voltage.
- For configuration and commissioning of the »Safe Receiver«, see the
»Mounting and wiring instructions / Safe Radio System« (130 46 38).
Mounting / Wiring
Protect the extension board against environmental influence. Ideally,
mount it closely to the »Safe Receiver«. With distances >25m, adjust
the CAN baud rate (CANbaud) accordingly

Commissioning
Connect CAN extension board and »Safe Receiver« to external power
supply (LED-MD glows) and establish CAN connection (cable with RJ45
plug). Communication starts automatically with preset default para-
meters (CAN-ID = 0x021, CANbaud = 1 Mbit).
Operating elements and indicators
The extension board has five LEDs to show operating conditions, two
buttons for configuration and four relays as signal outputs.
