BBC
turning

the
BMS
removes
this
trip
status,
i.e.
the
0V
signal
goes
back
to
a
+ve
signal,
the
BBC
shall
start
charging
again.
Use
BMS
2
-
if
your
BMS
trips
to
a
+ve
voltage
(2V
-17V),
then
use
BMS
2.
This
shall
result
in
the
BBC
turning
of
f
when
this
voltage
is
received.
Once
the
BMS
removes
this
trip
status,
i.e.
the
+ve
signal
goes
back
to
0V
signal,
the
BBC
shall
start
charging
again.

present
a
few
extra
challenges
due
to
the
lithium
safety
BMS
protocol
in
conflict
with
our
safety
protocol.
I.e.
if
your
lithium
battery
becomes
suf
ficiently
discharged
then
the
battery
will
totally
isolate
your
lithium
battery
ef
fectively
removing
it
from
the
charging
circuit
and,
as
such,
presenting
our
Pro
Batt
Ultra
with
0V
. This
means
our
default
safety
system
sees
0V
and
will
not
start
up
due
to
our
reverse
polarity
protection
system.
T
o
overcome
this
problem
after
installation
simply
remove
our
reverse
polarity
protection
by
pressing
and
holding
the
SETUP
button
for
15-30
seconds,
let
go,
then
press
the
SELECT
button
firmly
once
–
LED24
shall
flash,
then
press
both
SETUP
and
SELECT
.
If
successful,
the
output
of
the
BB
shall
be
a
live
14V
or
so
without
any
battery
connected
to
the
output
terminal.

Remote
trip
-

BMS
connector
can
also
be
used
as
a
basic
remote
trip.
Simply
apply
the
correct
trip
signal
voltage
to
the
relevant
BMS
connector
for
the
desired
ef
fect.
