6.3 Police Station, Remote radio control

Stations no. 10, 11, 12 and 13 can call each other by normal dialing.
z
The station’s program channel cable is connected to the RX line
from the radio.

The officer on duty can leave the radio room and move freely in
locations with intercom stations. By dialing “96” (program
channel) from any station he can monitor all ongoing radio traffic.

If the duty officer hears a request for answer, he just dials “30” to
connect to the radio for conversation.

In the radio, the “
S
” is ‘start duplex operation’.
-
closed during the whole conversation if required by the radio set.
z
The “
T
” is ‘Talk’ in simplex operation.
-
closed when press-to-talk button “T” is used in the calling station.
