Subscriber directory

Name search

You can look up a subscriber’s directory number by use of the built in search

feature.

·

Press the [Name] button.

The display will show:

AlphaNumSearch

If the arrow keys are pressed, the menu

will change to:

EditDAKText or ProgramKey

·

Confirm by pressing [Ok]

The keyboard is now changed to alphanu-

meric equal to mobile phones.

·

Type in a name to search for

The complete name or only the first char-

acters can be typed in.

– The upper arrow key acts as a

delete key (character to the left)

– The lower arrow key acts as a

space bar

·

Press the [Ok] button when the

search character(s) are typed in

The AlphaCom sends back the matching

name or the closest match.

·

Use the arrow keys to scroll in

the directory table if needed

·

Press the [Ok] button to make

the call or Esc to cancel

The Esc button brings you back to the

alphanumeric input for additional

changes or input. The C key brings you

back to idle.
