Power Selection for Programming
●
Before continuing, the power
selection shorting jumper needs to
be moved to the EXT side.
●
Pull the shorting jumper from the two
pins and insert where it is marked
EXT.
●
Since the USB port cannot provide
enough power to operate the motors
and should not be connected
anyway, the power selection needs
to be switched to external. This will
allow the batteries to power the
processor and the motors.
●
Now that external power is selected,
the power switch must be in the ON
position for programming. Don't let
the robot drive off the table during
programming.
