V.R.D. MANAGEMENT
The initials V.R.D. stand for VOLTAGE REDUCTION DEVICE, which is a system
for reducing the no-load voltage.
When the V.R.D. is installed in a welding machine it reduces the maximum no-
load voltage to a safety voltage which is normally less than 20V.
- The V.R.D. is used as an additional aid for operator safety.
- The procedures for safety at work must always be carried out with attention.

1) Switch on the generator.
2) Hold down the button

about 3 seconds, then release the button; the arc lit led (ref.2 page 51-52) blinks
(V.R.D. FUNCTION ON) (Vout 20V).
VRD mode remains on even after switching the machine off and on again.
