6. Use (8) M8-1.25 x 25 cap screws and (8) 8mm
lock washers to secure the jointer to the stand,
as shown in Figure
12
.
To assemble jointer:
1. Carefully lay the stand on its side.
2. Use (1) M8-1.25 x 50 hex bolt and (1) 8mm flat
washer to bolt the wheel assembly to the stand,
as shown in Figure
10
.
3. Use (2) M10-1.5 x 55 hex bolts, (2) 10mm flat
washers, and (2) M10-1.5 hex nuts to further
secure the wheel assembly to the stand, as
shown in Figure
11
.
5. With assistance, lift the jointer onto the stand
and align the mounting holes.

7. Loosen motor bracket bolts shown in Figure
13.

The jointer is very heavy. The
next step requires 4 strong
people or power lifting
equipment to lift the jointer.
4. Turn the stand rightside up and remove the
back cover.
