The POWER TOOLS LINE of STARRETT TO BATTERY are manual machines
developed by the criteria of quality, safety, modernity and technology to fi nd
the user’s needs, in according to the applicable technical standards
The Drill/Driver S8010 (fi gure 01) has duble purpose: drilling and screwing.
Light and robust it is capable of carrying out household and professional
activities while preserving safety and accuracy.
There are 2 speeds: HIGH and LOW, which can be quickly selected using the
Two Speed Gearbox Switch. The LOW speed range (0 to 450 rpm) is ideal
when it is necessary torque, as when screwing. The HIGH speed range (0 to
1600 rpm) is ideal for drilling tasks.
Other feature offered by S8010 is user selected speed control. Just control
the pressure on Trigger Switch and speed varies in according to touch.
Using a button it is possible to quickly select the chuck direction of revolution.
The NORMAL position is to execute drilling or fastening screws, see fi gure
04. In the LOCK position, the Chuck does not rotate in any sense, this posi-
tion is safety. The REVERSE position allows the chuck rotate in the opposite
direction of the NORMAL position, thus enabling loosening and releasing of
the screws.
The S8010 has a Keyless Chuck type, which does not require any specifi c
tool. Quick and safe exchange of drill bits and tips, with no risk of tool coming
loose during drilling and screwing process.
A Work Lamp (LED) is installed, positioned in order to offer the user a lighted
working area.
To run this power tool, it uses a Rechargeable Battery LITHIUM-ION type. A
