DANGER:
NEVER HOLD the chuck body with one hand and apply
strength to the machine to tighten the drill bits or the
tips. The chuck body can slip on your hand. Your hand
can also slip and touch the drilling bit edge lines. This
procedure causes risk of injury due to cutting !
The Drill / Driver has a Two Speed Gearbox Switch to select the two speed
ranges as standard machine feature.This resource aims to provide each
process (DRILLING or SCREWING) with an appropriate range speed.
Using the Two Speed Gearbox Switch located on top of the machine
(fi gure 07), it is possible to select a LOW speed (LO), from 0 to 450 rpm,
adequate for screwing operation, using the bit as tool. In this range, the
screwing machine can get torque, with low speed. In cases where the hard-
ness of the material is high, such as metal, ceramic and other, LOW speed
is more appropriate. In order to avoid excessive heating of the plastic mate-
rial, this speed range is the most recommended.
As an option, this can be coupled in the speed (LO) a device to use a hole
saw for large diameter holes, ie, above 13 mm.
When HIGH speed range (HI) is selected, designed for 0 to 1600rpm, the
machine is adequate for drilling process up to a maximum of a 13mm drill
diameter.
