Always park on level ground with the forks flat on the floor, this ensures no one will run into them. Make sure that the brakes are set, the controls in neutral
and the starter key or battery plug is removed.

No Smoking While Refuelling

Turn off the engine when refuelling the forklift truck or when checking the battery - and don't smoke! Remember, the driver's seat is not a smoking seat.
