5.28 System Status - SS
The
SS command is used to query the system status. If the command is issued as a query the
current system status will be displayed in a text form. If the command is issued with “#” as the
parameter the status will be returned as a hexadecimal value corresponding to the status bit map.
The bit-mapped values of each fault are shown in Section 8.1,
Fault and Status Bit Maps
.
5.29 Timestamp - TS
The
TS command is used to query the current timestamp used in the event log (see the LOG
command). This command can only be queried and it reports the current time in a form that
indicates the number of seconds that have elapsed since January 1, 1970. This command is most
useful when trying to determine the length of time that has elapsed since an event in the log.
The time is derived from the current carrier. If a receiver is not locked to a carrier, the receiver’s
internal clock continues clocking from the last value.

Time Zone Feed - TZF
The
TZF command is used to copy a particular channel to both output channels. This allows the
user to broadcast two channels simultaneously (one on the left channel and one on the right
channel). The
TZF setting is global to the receiver. This means that if the TZF is enabled it will
operate identically for ALL Audio decoders in the receiver. When a receiver has
TZF enabled,
the
AM command cannot be used. The TZF setting is saved in non-volatile memory.
The
TZF command comes in two forms:
TZF
The query form of the command displays the current state of the
TZF
setting.
TZF
This form of the command sets the
TZF
to the specified value.
Valid values are:
value
from 0 to 2 and have the following definitions:
0: None
1: Left channel copied to right channel
2: Right channel copied to left channel
The
TZF is enabled when relay 7 is activated on an audio decoder. It is cancelled when relay 0
is fired
