4-4. Paper Feed Mechanism
The turn of the paper feed motor is transmitted to the PF (Paper Feed) roller and tractor unit via the release lever, front-
rear release arm, tractor clutch lever, clutch gear and change lever. The paper feed motor is a HB (Hy Brid) 4-phase and
96 pulse motor. The changing of the rotational direction depends on the detectors on Frame L.
There are threeways of feeding paper into the printer : the friction method, the tractor (front) method and tractor (rear)
method. You can select the method you want to use by setting the release lever.
