1. OUTLINE
The DP8340R series of serial dot matrix printers is for use in ECR, POS,
electronic instruments, banking machines and computer peripheral equipment.
The DP8340R series include the following features;
1)
2 color printing (Red and Black)
2)
High-speed bidirectional printing (2 line/sec, 29 or 44 columns per line)
3)
9-pin print head
4)
The interface conforms to RS-232C in M type, and to RS-232C/20mA
Current Loop in D type.
5)
Commands for expanded characters, inverted characters, emphasized
characters, red and black printing, and 10CPI or 15CPI characters etc. are
provided, which makes the printer very versatile.
