STORAGE

ENGINE

Consult the

Engine Owner’s Manual

 for manufacturer’s recommendations

for storage.

TO PREVENT FUEL-RELATED PROBLEMS

1. Add Ethanol Shield

TM

fuel stabilizer following the manufacturer’s instructions. When

adding a gasoline stabilizer, fill the fuel tank with fresh gasoline. If only partially

filled, air in the tank will promote fuel  deterioration during storage. If you keep a

container of gasoline for refueling, be sure that it contains only fresh gasoline.

2. After adding a gasoline stabilizer, run the engine outdoors for 10 minutes to be sure

that treated gasoline has replaced the untreated gasoline in the carburetor.

3. Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position.
4. Continue to run the engine until it stops from the lack of fuel in the carburetor fuel

bowl. Running time should be less than 3 minutes.

PUMP

The manufacturer recommends using SIMPSON

®

 / POWERWASHER

®

Pump Guard

peratures are expected. SIMPSON

 Pump Guard is environmen-

NOTE:

Using pump guard helps provide proper lubrication to the internal seals of the

pump regardless of temperature or environment.

NOTICE:

Risk of property damage. Use only SIMPSON

®

 / POWERWASHER
