MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
The following periodic maintenance should be carried out either by the
Manufacturer or by the User as indicated below.
Clean the Fan
The Fan Blades should be cleaned at least annually. This work should
be carried out by the Manufacturer or by authorised Service Personnel.
Method: Remove the self tapping screws and remove Heating Unit
from outer casing. Fan Blades can then be cleaned with cloth and
warm soapy water.
Note: If the heater is used in a dusty location cleaning should be
carried out on a regular basis.
Cleaning the Burner
Burners should be cleaned at least annually, usually at the same
time as the Fan Blades. This work should be carried out by the
Manufacturer or by authorised Service Personnel.
Method: Remove Heating Unit from outer casing as described above.
Burner Ports can then be cleaned using a small wire brush. Remove
any fluff or dust build-up around Burner intake and Injector.
Cleaning Air Intake
The main air intake at the rear of the heater should be cleaned on a
regular schedule. This work can be carried out by the user.
Method: Clean air intake slots with a soft brush.
Temperature Limit Devices
Temperature Limiting Devices should be tested annually by the
Manufacturer or by Authorised Service Personnel. Following
completion of testing the heater should be checked for satisfactory
operation.
