OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Test Firing Heater

Test fire heater, following the lighting instructions on heater case.  
Leak test all gas connections with soapy water.  Soap bubbles indicate 
gas leakage. DO NOT use a match to test for gas leaks.
WARNING: Improper adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance 
can cause injury or property damage. Any modifications or adjustments 
made to product without prior authority from the manufacturer will 
void any warranty claims. Read the operating and maintenance 
instructions thoroughly before servicing this equipment.

Lighting Instructions

* Remove any transit protection material.

1.   Connect the hose and regulator.
2.   Open the gas cylinder valve, check for leaks with a soapy water 

solution.

3.   Turn on fan by pressing Fan Switch (item 1) to ON.
 

WARNING: If the fan does not start DO NOT proceed with 
ignition.

4.   Press Gas Button (item 2) and keep depressed. At the same time 

continually press the Igniter Button (item 3) until burner lights. 
When burner lights keep button depressed for 10-20 seconds then 
release, the burner should stay alight.  
If burner fails to remain alight turn gas cylinder valve ‘OFF’ 
and Fan Switch (item 1) to ‘OFF’. Wait 5 minutes then repeat 
procedure from step 2. 

5.   To turn heater off, turn gas cylinder valve ‘OFF’ and 

Fan Switch (item 1) to ‘OFF’. 

Emergency Shut Down

Close cylinder valve. Switch fan off.
