Intended Use

The switch sockets 8581/31 are explosion-protected equipment approved for use in haz-
ardous areas of Zones 1, 2 and 21, 22. They connect portable and fixed electrical equip-
ment as well as cables and circuits in hazardous areas.

Alterations and modifications to the device are not permitted.

We shall not accept any liability or warranty obligations for damage resulting 
from unauthorized alterations and modifications.
