2. Fill the water bottle to the maximum level line with cold
water.
tip: carbon dioxide is absorbed well by cold water.
therefore, we recommend that the full bottled are
chilled in the fridge before use.
attention: never fill an empty bottle with carbon
dioxide! always fill the bottle with water to the
maximum level.
insert the Water Bottle
1. To install a water filled bottle, place the bottle beneath
the carbonating head ensuring that the carbonating tube
is inside the bottle. Turn the filled water bottle in an
clockwise direction into the carbonating head.
2. Check that the water bottle is tightly locked in position.
3. Close the safety beak.
Producing Sparkling Water
Press the carbonating button (2) on top of the HUGO soda
maker (using short sharp presses). You will see and hear the
gas being released through the carbonating tube into the
water. Release the carbonating button after each press.
After 2-3 presses you will hear a whistling noise. 2-3 presses
will produce a light sparkle. Addition 2-3 presses will pro-
duce a standard sparkle, and 2-3 extra presses will produce
a strong sparkle.
important: By pressing hesitating the carbonating but-
ton, the bottleneck does not seal properly. By that car-
bon dioxide gets wasted. Push shortly and powerful!
You will soon discover the carbonating level you prefer.
To remove the water bottle press the pressure release button
(1) down and the safety beak will open and a hiss of esca -
ping gas will be heard. This is normal.
Now turn the water bottle anti-clockwise and remove the
bottle from the machine.
Mixing Sparkling Drinks with Flavoured concentrates
a variety of flavours from different concentrates
1. If you want to make a flavoured soft drinks then chose a
concentrate for carbonated water. Follow the instructions
on the concentrate bottle and add the appropriate
amount of concentrate to the carbonated water. Add
Concentrate to your own personal taste.
2. Screw the cap onto the bottle and turn upside down once
or twice so that the water and concentrate are mixed to-
gether. Please do not shake the bottle.
