Troubleshooting
Problem Fault/remedy
Radio set cannot be switched on
The battery pack is running low. Charge/exchange the battery pack.
Battery capacity runs down very quickly
Battery life time is over. Replace the battery pack.
You can neither speak nor hear your radio partner.
Check whether the same channel and (if activated) the same CTCSS or CDCSS method are
adjusted.
If you are out of reach, reduce the distance to your radio partner.
Care instructions
Protect your radio set and the accessories from moisture, dust, heat, and strong vibrations.
Clean the radio set and the charger only by means of a slightly damp, lint-free cloth; do not at
all use detergents or solvents.
Do not dip the radio set and/or the accessories into water or other liquids.
Keep the charging contacts on the radio set and the battery pack clean by means of a dry cloth.
Only use original accessories. When using battery packs or chargers which are not provided by
stabo but by third parties, the device output can possibly be reduced. If damages are caused by
using non-original accessories (e. g. short-circuits due to incompatible headsets) the guarantee
becomes null and void.
Remove the battery pack from the radio set, if you do not use the device for a prolonged period.
Disposal instructions
Electric and electronic devices are not to be thrown into the domestic waste! Deliver devices that
are out of order/used with a corresponding collecting point. For further information please contact
your local waste disposal company.
Used up or defective battery packs are not to be thrown into the domestic waste: Dispose used
up battery packs (only if completely discharged) with the corresponding collecting points! For a
Li-ion battery pack, cover the battery poles using adhesive tape prior to disposal or dispose the
battery pack in a small plastic bag (protection against short-circuit).
