Configuration using the stmcconfig utility
This chapter describes the host utility
stmcconfig
that provides a variety of options to
report, configure and maintain the ST Micro Connect 2 remotely. It also facilitates firmware
upgrades.
stmcconfig
’s command line options are listed in
Table 2
and detailed in the
following sections in alphabetical order.
Note:
Some of these commands require a good understanding of networking principles.
To pass commands to an ST Micro Connect 2,
stmcconfig
uses the ST Micro Connect 2’s
IP address as identification. For a variety of reasons this IP address may not be known.
Section 5.6
describes how to identify the IP assignment of a particular ST Micro Connect 2
and
Section 5.7
describes how to identify all the ST Micro Connect 2s on a network.
