Note

Pressing the VVI hard key from the Start-Up screen initiates Emer-
gency VVI pacing parameters in the implanted device if the wand is 
within the necessary telemetry distance.

To initiate Emergency VVI pacing for the Merlin PSA system, launch 
the PSA application, then press the VVI hard key.

The Merlin PSA only delivers Emergency VVI Pacing through the ven-
tricular channel. EVVI pacing is not delivered through the atrial chan-
nel. 

CAUTION

The Emergency Shock function is not available during a PSA session.
