4 Quick Start Guide
4.1 Hardware Wiring
1. According to the RJ-45 port instructions in chapter 3, properly wires every pin of 5-pin terminal.
2. According to the CAN interface instructions in chapter 3, properly wires at least pin 2 and 4. Noted it is
not the right time to power on.
3. Check the wiring is correct in manual instructions.
4. Power on the module, enter into the run mode.
4.2 Software Installation
Double click the installation package and install the configuration software
SST-EC-CFG.
4.3 Communication Debugging

Please connect the Ethernet port to PC when GT200-MT-CA is first used, and turn the DIP switch to
2ON1OFF(configuration mode), then power on the module. The IP address should be 192.168.0.10. The segment
of the PC should match with 192.168.0.X. Use Crossover cable when the gateway connects with PC directly,
when they are connected by switch or router, then use straight-through cable.

. Open SST-EC-CFG, search current network equipment for statically configured devices.

. According to the method of software configuration, configure the related parameters of CAN and Modbus
TCP according to the actual application requirements.

. Switch the DIP switch to 2OFF1OFF(run mode) and reboot the system and the configurations will become
effective.

. Install GT200-MT-CA to standard DIN rail, power on and use it.
