USE OF COOKWARE IN HALOGEN OVEN

You can use any cookware that can be used in conventional ovens, 

such as oven safe pans, bowls, plates, tin foil, baking paper, etc  

as long as the fan is not blocked and  the lid

 can be fully closed 

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

before cooking with the blitz Halogen oven for the first time:

ensure that the appliance is on a stable and heat proof 

surface with at least 10 cm distance on all sides from any other 

appliance or object 

ensure that there is a suitable space cleared to place the lid

when removed from the blitz Halogen oven 

Have all necessary accessories in place (two-way rack

 or low 

rack

Press the handle safety lock

 on the side of the lid handle and 

lift the lid handle

  Place the lid

 centrally and securely onto 

the empty glass bowl

Plug the mains cable into power socket then set the thermostat

 to 250°C and the timer

 to 5 minutes 

Push the lid handle

 down until it clicks into place  The heat 

will remove any lubricants from the appliance (you will notice 

a slight burning odour) 

Remove the lid

 and allow the halogen oven to cool for  

5 minutes  

Using the tongs

 place one of the racks into the glass bowl

Place the food centrally into the glass bowl

 on the two-way

or low rack

 and ensure that 

there is approximately 2 5 cm –  

3 cm of space between the 

food and the glass wall, to 

allow maximum air circulation   

To steam, place the steamer tray

 on top of the low rack

and pour a little water into the 

glass bowl

Place the lid

 on the glass bowl

 or if more space is 

needed, place the extender ring

 on the glass bowl

then place the lid

ensure that the extender ring

is securely fitted before placing the lid

Plug the mains cable into the power socket

set the thermostat

recommended cooking temperature and time

When the halogen oven heats up to the set temperature, the 

power indicator light

 will switch off, the heat indicator 

light

 will blink and you will hear a short ring  The oven 

will maintain this temperature until the cooking time has 

elapsed  The fan and heating element in the lid

automatical ly switch off

Using a dish cloth or sponge, and warm soapy water, wipe
