Before using the appliance for the first time
1.1
Introduction
This appliance complies with the highest safety standards. Nevertheless, as for every electric appliance, special
care is required also when operating a counter-top induction cooktop.
For this reason, we ask you to read the operating instructions carefully before use. Please note the safety
recommendations in particular. Failure to follow them can cause severe injuries and damage. Please ensure that
your employees who use the induction cooktop are familiar with these operating instructions. These operating
instructions should always be available for reference.

Spring International GmbH assumes no liability for injuries or damage arising from improper use or failure to follow
the safety recommendations.

Proper use
The counter-top induction cooktop may be operated only by competent persons who are aware of the
consequences of all misuse mentioned in these instructions and can understand the safety recommendations.
Children may operate the appliance only under supervision.
2.1
Intended use
Cooking and heating food using appropriate cookware.
2.2
Known types of incorrect use
The following types of incorrect use are dangerous and, therefore, prohibited for safety reasons:
• Use of the counter-top induction cooktop without supervision. This can lead to misuse and potential injuries.
• Improper repairs may impair functioning. Have repairs made only by authorized technicians. Use only original
replacement parts!
• Use of the induction cooktop with empty cookware will result in extreme overheating. Danger of burns and damage
to the induction cooktop and cookware.
• Operation or continued use if there are damaged parts in the counter-top induction cooktop, e.g. glass ceramic
surface, power supply, etc. is dangerous and can cause injuries.
• Failure to maintain the recommended ventilation and minimum distances when setting up the counter-top induction
cooktop can lead to malfunction, overheating, and fire hazard.
• Using improper cookware not recommended by us can lead to malfunctions and damage.
• Do not use the induction cooktop as a workspace or storage space in order to avoid damage to the glass ceramic
surface.
