INTRODUCTION
The luminaire you have bought complies to 2006/95/EC,
2004/108/EC and 2011/65/EU European Directives.
The label on the side of the luminaire list the following
information:
• Model
• Supply voltage in V
• Power of the lamp in W
• IP protection level
• Maximum allowed ambient temperature in °C
• Maximum temperature of the luminaire body in °C
• Minimum distance from any inflammable surface
• Information to find the position 0° of the luminaire: when
the arrow tip points upwards
• Maximum tilt angle range. These limits, imposed by the
lamp manufacturer, should not be exceeded as they would
reduce the lamp’s useful life or lead to the luminaire’s
deterioration.
The PICCOLO luminaire is supplied into two different versions:
• PIC HS followspot version
• PIC HE effects projection version
Both version have the same lamp holder body (code
LANT-PIC-H-V) but they differ in the front head:
• for the PIC HS followspot version:
- Iris diaphragm head (code TIPI), 4 shaping shutters
and standard objective
• for the PIC HE effects projection version:
- Rotating head with accessories holder guides,
objective holder and standard objective (code TEPI)
- Disc holder housing (code PODI) and different speed
motors (codes MODIVE – MODILE – MODIXLE) as
optionals
The two heads are interchangeable at any time
INSTALLATION
• The luminaires is intended for professional use only
• The product is designed for indoor use: consequently
it has to be protected from dampness and rain, if used
in different conditions (IP 20)
• Do not mount the luminaire on or near a flammable
surface
• Please note carefully the notes written on the label of
the luminaires
• Do not forget to connect a safety cable, if required by
local country safety regulations
• The luminaire is usually mounted on a stand.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Your luminaire has been designed for a supply voltage
of 220-240V, 50Hz.
The power cable complies with standards CEI 20-35.
Before and during the installation, follow the
instructions below:
• Always check the earth wiring for the line being used
• Ensure the voltage for the unit is the same as the one
WARNING: replace immediately the lamp
and/or the lenses if visibly damaged,
although they may still work.
