MAINTENANCE
Take care of your kayak to decrease the risk of injury. Before each use, check the kayak’s outer skin, seams
(including bonded seams), and valves for leaks. Make sure the fin is locked in place in the fin box. Also check
the screw threads, the fin box itself and the air valves before each use. The air pump should be greased from
time to time. Use the repair kit to carry out minor repairs to the outer skin. If you are not sure, consult a profes-
sional or contact our customer service team. Only use original spare parts.
CLEANING
Clean the kayak after each use. The salt in seawater can damage and destroy the outer skin, so it is advisable
to clean the kayak with a garden hose and clear fresh water. Allow it to dry completely. A damp kayak could
result in mould, and the bonded seams could break. Do not use any sharp, corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents as this may damage the surface. If necessary, use a soft damp cloth soaked in a small amount of deter-
gent or use a kayak or SUP cleaner from specialist dealers.
TRANSPORT & STORAGE
For transport, deflate the air chambers and carefully roll up the kayak (see page 11). When storing the kayak for
a prolonged period, make sure it is kept in a dry and warm place that is not accessible to children or animals.
Keep it slightly inflated to retain its shape. Do not fold and do not deflate completely for storage as this may
cause the outer skin to break more easily and could damage the bonded sections.
Do not store in areas where there are evaporating chemicals, varnishes, thinners, or fuels such as petrol or
diesel. Do not keep it in the same room where the boiler or heating oil is stored under any circumstances.
Evaporating substances could damage the adhesive, resulting in the kayak no longer being leak-proof, and
therefore rendering it unusable. This or any other improper use is excluded from the warranty.
