Please note:
Make sure the fin is removed and the kayak is placed on a flat, smooth surface before you dismantle the
equipment. We recommend using a protective mat to prevent the underside from getting damaged. Never
unscrew the valve from the kayak to deflate it. This should only be done by a professional. A loud hissing
sound may be heard as the air escapes. If necessary, alert people in the immediate vicinity of this.
Turn your face away when you push the valve pin in, as the air will escape quickly. Escaping particles and the
air pressure can be dangerous to your eyes and eardrums.
Remove the seats and
foot pegs from the
inside of the kayak.
Open all three valves
located in the rear.
Remove the valve cap by
turning it anticlockwise
and push the valve pin
in to let the air escape.
Be careful as a lot of air
will escape initially.
Next, squeeze the air out
by gently pressing on the
kayak in the direction of
the valves with as large a
contact surface as pos-
sible. This should be done
separately for each air
chamber.
DISASSEMBLY & DEFLATION
Place the accessories in the
backpack last.
When there is no more air coming from the valves, connect the
hose and start deflating the air chambers using the pump.
Empty the two air chambers on the sides first and the air
chamber in the floor last.
Once the air chambers are completely deflated, the kayak can be
rolled up. It’s important to start at the front of the kayak, as the fin
box can cause damage if rolled up on the inside.
The rolled-up kayak can then
be inserted into the backpack.
Now prepare the air pump
for deflation. Connect the
hose to the opening that
is marked ‘Deflation’.
