SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• When selecting the ideal place for assembly, ensure there is enough space, and that
the ground is level and free of any sharp objects such as bushes, branches, and stones.
• Make sure that people or objects are not positioned near the kayak during assembly.
• Wear gloves during assembly to avoid trapping your fingers.
• Once the kayak has been assembled, it is advisable to carry it to the water with another
person. Make sure it does not touch the ground during transport.
• Ensure the packaging material is disposed of properly.
• This product is suitable for outdoor use only.
• Do not exceed the specified user weight or the maximum number of persons allowed on
the kayak.
• If more than one person is on the kayak, make sure the load or people are evenly distri-
buted, otherwise it may capsize.
• This is not a toy and, therefore, it is not suitable for children under 14 years, except
when accompanied by an adult.
• Each user and any accompanying persons must have sufficient swimming skills.
• Attention must be paid to the maximum pressure allowed (see table on the last page).
Failure to do so may cause the outer skin to burst, resulting in serious injuries such as
cardiac arrest or ruptured eardrums.
• Do not leave children or animals unsupervised near the kayak.
• This device is not suitable for persons with limited sensory, physical and/or mental
disabilities.
• The product must be inspected for damaged, worn or broken parts before each use.
Replace them immediately as they could affect the safety of the entire device. Do not
use the kayak until they are replaced.
• Never use the kayak under the influence of alcohol and/or medication.
• Do not use if you are pregnant.
• Do not smoke during assembly or when using the kayak.
• Do not place cigarettes, sharp objects or other foreign objects on the kayak.
• Do not use if you suffer from high blood pressure.
• If you experience any symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, chest or limb pain, a rapid
heartbeat, or if you feel faint, stop using the kayak immediately and consult a doctor.
• Avoid clothing with hooks or loops that you could get caught on to prevent any risk of
strangulation.
• Wear a wetsuit – this will protect you from hypothermia in windy and cool weather.
• Stay in designated zones and waters where the use of a kayak is permitted.
• Please adhere to the local waterway regulations. Pay close attention to prohibitive
signs and hazard warnings.
• It is advisable to kayak on guarded waters and beaches where lifeguards can help in an
emergency.
• Kayaking during thunderstorms is life-threatening. In the event of thunder and light-
ning, head immediately to the nearest shore. Always pay attention to any warning sig-
nals that may be present.
• Do not use in the vicinity of boats and ships.
• Do not venture out too far in the open sea where the current and waves can be very
strong.
• Avoid marshy waters and areas where plants are growing, as your kayak may get caught
up there.
• Be aware of offshore winds and currents.
• Do not dive headfirst into unfamiliar waters from your kayak – the water may not be
deep enough and you may get injured on rocks or stones.
• Leave the water if you feel very cold to avoid any risk of hypothermia.
• Be realistic about your abilities/capabilities and don’t push yourself too hard. Kayaking
against a current, for example, is extremely strenuous and often impossible.
• Never kayak alone or unsupervised on the water.
• Do not attach any objects to the kayak, and never tie several kayaks together, as it will
no longer be possible to manoeuvre them.
• Never let your children out of sight when they’re using the kayak.
• Carefully step (do not jump) onto the kayak. This also applies when getting off.
• Prevent unauthorised and unsupervised use.
• The owner or supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all users are adequately
informed of the warnings and safety instructions.
• Always take the paddle with you, otherwise the kayak cannot be manoeuvred properly.
• Do not make any technical modifications, such as attaching a motor. The construction
of a kayak is not designed for this.
• Our manufacturers or suppliers will not be responsible or liable in any way for any
direct, indirect or special consequential damage caused by, arising from, or in connec-
tion with the use or performance of this product. This includes financial losses due to
theft, loss of property, loss of earnings, loss of enjoyment from the equipment itself,
costs of assembly or disposal, damage due to environmental and weather conditions,
or any other type of consequential loss.
• Use this device only as described in this manual, otherwise it will be considered
improper use and may also pose a health risk.
• All defects caused by non-compliance with the user manual, improper handling,
damage or unsuccessful repair attempts, as well as wear and tear from everyday use,
are excluded from the warranty.
