Opening consoles A; AS and AJ
The console lids (

) are secured either with a screw (

) or a catch (

).
Crushing hazard!
The console lids are equipped with either a retaining cable strap or a securing mechanism
for protection against closing. Always open the console lid until the retaining cable strap
is under tension or the securing mechanism engages.
• Remove the screw (

) using a suitable tool (e.g. cross-bladed screwdriver) or unlock the catch
(

).
• Open the console lid (

) in the direction of the hinges (

) until the retaining cable strap is under
tension or the securing mechanism engages.
The consoles A; AS and AJ are optionally equipped with a side cover. The side cover (

) is either
secured using screws (

) or with quick-release catches (

• Remove the side cover by either removing the screws (
