Master Section
Right Output, Left Output
These jacks feed the output of the internal 35W (RMS)
power amplifiers to suitable loudspeakers of impedance
4 9 or greater. Output level is set by either the MASTER
or MONITOR AMP/ HEADPHONES controls, depending
on the position of the MIX/MON switch, which selects
either MIX or MONITOR as the source for the amplifiers.
Master Mix (Out)
These jacks allow you to take the combined mix of all of
your sources to an external amplifier and PA speakers
for applications which require greater output power than
the internal amplifiers. If you want to send to speakers
and a DAT recorder at the same time, connect your
speakers to Right & Left Outputs and the DAT to the
Master Mix outputs. The output level is set by the
MASTER control (see 5 below).
Mix/Mon
This switch selects the source for the internal power
amplifiers and is normally the master MIX (switch
released). When the switch is pressed the source is the
Headphones (Monitor) signal, but this is automatically
cut off if headphones are plugged in.
Thermal/Clip Protect
The power amplifiers incorporate circuitry to protect
against clipping and overheating. If the THERMAL LED
illuminates you should reduce output levels or improve
ventilation to avoid the possibility of the amplifiers
shutting down completely.
If the CLIP PROTECT LED illuminates you should
reduce input or output signal levels to a correct working
level with the ‘ AVG ’ LED glowing. The amplifier outputs
are automatically isolated if a significant DC offset is
detected, either due to clipping or a fault situation.
Master
The output level is set by the MASTER control, which
should be set to the ‘0’ mark for maximum level control
( see also page 13 for tips on setting up your inputs ). Adjust
the input Level controls to give a suitable output level,
with the ‘ AVG ’ LEDs glowing.
FX Ret (In)
These jacks allow the output of an effects unit or any
other stereo line level source to be fed back to the mixer
and combined with the rest of the stereo mix, without
using up valuable input channels. The input is unbalanced ,
and the jacks are connected so that a mono effect can be
plugged into the left jack only and automatically fed to
both left and right sides of the mix.
The FX RET LEVEL control adjusts the level of the
signal to the stereo mix.
Master-Sektion
Power Amp Output
An diese 6,3 mm Klinkenstecker-Buchsen können
Lautsprecher mit einer Impedanz von 4 angeschlossen.
Die Verstärkerleistung beträgt 2 x 30 Watt.
Master Mix (out)
An diesen 6,3 mm Buchsen liegt das gemischte Signal
aller Eingänge an. Es kann zu externen Verstärkern für
Beschallung oder auf DAT bzw. Computer Soundkarte
für Aufnahmen zugewiesen werden. Als Alternative
können auch externe Verstärker für zusätzliche
Beschallung angeschlossen werden. Der Gesamtpegel
wird mit dem MASTER-Regler eingestellt. .
Power Amp/ Mix /Mon
Bei nicht gedrücktem POWER AMP-Schalter wird das
Mix-Signal zum Powerpad-Verstärker geroutet.
Bei gedrücktem Schalter wird das Monitor/Kopfhörer-
Signal zum Verstärker geroutet.
Thermal /Clip Protect
Diese LED warnt vor zu hoher Wärmeentwicklung im
Verstärker. Bei Überhitzung schaltet der Verstärker ab.
Diese LED blinkt, wenn der Verstärker übersteuert
wird. Dann sind beispielsweise die Signalpegel zu hoch.
Master
Der Pegel muß so eingestellt sein, daß die ‘AVG’-LED
leuchtet.
FX Ret (In) (Effekt Return Eingang)
An diese 6,3 mm Buchse werden die Ausgänge eines
Effektgerätes angeschlossen, ohne weitere
Eingangskanäle zu belegen. Der Eingang ist
unsymmetrisch. Bei einem Mono-Effektsignal ist nur die
linke (L) Anschlußbuchse zu benutzen, das Signal wird
dann automatisch auf beiden Seiten wiedergegeben. Mit
dem FX RET LEVEL Regler wird die Lautstärke dieses
Signals eingestellt.
Aux (Out)
An diesen Anschluß wird der Eingang eines Effektgerätes
angeschlossen.
Tape (In) (Tape Eingang)
An diese unsymmetrischen Cinch-Eingänge können die
Ausgänge von Cassettenrekordern, DAT-Rekordern,
CD-Spieler oder Computer Soundkarten angeschlossen
werden, um über Monitor oder Kopfhörer abgehört zu
werden. Sie eignen sich hervorragend für die
Hinterbandkontrolle während einer Aufnahme oder das
Abhören einer PC Soundkarte. Mit dem TAPE LEVEL
Regler wird die Lautstärke des Signals eingestellt.
Beachten Sie, daß das TAPE IN-Signal nicht auf den
Master-Mix gebracht werden kann.
