Power Cable/Fuse Replacement

Remove the fuse and replace it with the international fuse provided in the Power 
Cable/Fuse Kit.

Replace the fuse holder assembly by sliding it back into the power supply inlet switch 
until it snaps into its proper position.

Connect the new international power supply cable provided in the Power Cable/Fuse 
Kit.

Note:

In the fuse holder assembly, there is a small compartment that slides open (see 

Figure 5

). This is used to hold a spare fuse. To open the compartment, use a pointed 

instrument (such as a pencil) and push the compartment out from either end.

SMB-6000B Power Supply Inlet Switch

To remove or change a fuse:

If your chassis is operating, power down the chassis and disconnect the power supply 
cable from its power source.

Insert the screwdriver in the cover slot as shown in 

Figure 6

 and pry open the cover.
