Power Cable/Fuse Replacement
Installing a Chassis Fuse

5 Remove the fuse and replace it with the international fuse provided in the Power
Cable/Fuse Kit.
6 Replace the fuse holder assembly by sliding it back into the power supply inlet switch
until it snaps into its proper position.
7 Connect the new international power supply cable provided in the Power Cable/Fuse
Kit.
Note:
In the fuse holder assembly, there is a small compartment that slides open (see
Figure 5 ). This is used to hold a spare fuse. To open the compartment, use a pointed
instrument (such as a pencil) and push the compartment out from either end.

SMB-6000B Power Supply Inlet Switch
To remove or change a fuse:
1 If your chassis is operating, power down the chassis and disconnect the power supply
cable from its power source.
2 Insert the screwdriver in the cover slot as shown in Figure 6 and pry open the cover.
