5.10 MOWING BLADE
Check the condition of the blade regularly.
THE BLADE:
•
Cannot bear traces of damage such as bending, or other deformations.
•
It must be securely fastened to the flange with fixing screws.
•
Must be sharp.
•
The fastening screws must be free of any damage.
The blade is statically balanced by the manufacturer for proper and reliable operation. This balance must be
maintained throughout the use of the blade. After each sharpening, it is necessary to balance the blade statically.
The blade screw must be tightened sufficiently.
If the blade is damaged, it is forbidden:
•
Straightening the blade
•
Heating the blade
•
Welding and surfacing the blade
•
Reinforcement and other interventions in its construction
When replacing worn parts, observe the following:
•
Maximum allowed blade wear is 12 mm. If the mowing blade is worn beyond the permitted wear, the blade
must be replaced.
•
Blade balance must be checked after sharpening.
•
The blade cannot be refurbished.
•
When replacing the blade, use new fastening screws if the existing ones show signs of damage. Only steel,
high-strength screws can be used as fasteners. The use of other screws is strictly prohibited.
•
If the mowing unit starts vibrating after starting up the engine and engaging the blade, do not continue
working with the mower, turn it off and contact your dealer.
•
Use the table torques for tightening.
Changing the blade

2) Stop the engine, press CENTRAL STOP on the controller and the mower.
3) Disconnect the battery.
4) Raise the mower to the service position and secure it against tipping over.

6) Follow the reverse procedure when mounting the blade.
•
When mounting the blade, always check the screws.
•

•
Check the blade attachment after installation.
Pay attention to the initial start of the mowing mechanism after changing the blade. Check for unknown sounds,
vibrations, etc.
