Engine Oil Level Check:
1) Ensure that the mower is on a level surface
2) Stop the engine and allow it to cool down.
3) Open the bonnet and pull out the dipstick.
4) Wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth and push it back into the inspection hole as far as it will go.
5) Pull out the dipstick out again and read off the oil level.
6) If the level is near or below the lower limit mark, top off the recommended oil to the upper limit mark.
7) Slide the oil dipstick back and tighten.
WARNING
When topping off, the oil must not get on hot parts of the engine - risk of fire.
Read and follow the warnings before working in the engine area.
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Engine oil must be replaced at the intervals specified in the engine maintenance schedule. See also:
WARNING
You can replace the engine oil only if you have the necessary expertise!
5.8 ENGINE AIR FILTER
The air filter works on a dry basis, so never apply oil on it.
A dirty air filter reduces airflow to the carburetor, reducing engine performance. If you operate the engine in a very
dusty environment, clean the air filter more than is recommended in the Maintenance Plan.
ATTENTION
Using an engine without an air filter or with a damaged filter will allow dirt to enter the engine; this
speeds up engine wear. This type of damage is not covered by the supplier's warranty.
