In step 6, when the device is reading data, do not disconnect the power supply, otherwise
the device may be locked and cannot be operated.
If you cannot upgrade the data in the Windows system, you can write an email to
to request the upgrade data package SD_UpdateDV.bin for the
corresponding country. The staff will send you the latest data package of the target
country at your request. You can also visit our official website

to
download the data package file. After obtaining the data package, please copy the bin file
to the formatted TF card, and then follow the above steps 5-7 for direct data upgrade.
4. APPENDIX
4.1 GPS data update (Quick Update) guideline
When this device leaves the factory, the road data of the region / country where the product is sold has
been downloaded and saved in the device in advance. The customer can use it after setting the
corresponding GPS data alarm function option (see 3.3 GPS data alarm function and setting). As the
type and quantity of road data are constantly changing, customers can upgrade the data based on
actual conditions.
1. Pull out the TF card from the device and insert it into the computer.
2. Open the folder of the TF card, open the updatetool.exe data upgrade program.
3. Select the language of the upgrade program and the data of the target country, and click update.
4. The upgrade program downloads the data package SD_UpdateDV.bin to the TF card.
5. Insert the TF card with SD_UpdateDV.bin file into the shut down device.
6. Turn on the device, the device will read SD_UpdateDV.bin to obtain GPS data.
7. Restart the device, the device can now use GPS data alarm function normally.
● Upgrade steps
● If you are using the TF card that comes with the product, when you insert the card into your
computer, you can open the updatetool.exe inside, and follow the steps above; if the card does not
have the updatetool.exe program, please insert the card into the device to read After reading, restart
the device, and then pull out the TF card and insert it into the computer to find the updatetool.exe
program generated in the card.
● If you use a brand new TF card, please insert the TF card into the device to read it. After reading,
restart the device, and the device will write the updatetool.exe program to the TF card at this time.
Pull out the TF card and insert it into the computer to operate.
