4-20 mA Signal Configuration / Operation
Overview
The Airnet II particle sensor has an option to be ordered with the ability to transmit three
4-20 mA signals. To use the 4-20 mA output capabilities, the option must be installed in
the Airnet II.
One signal communicates instrument status and the other two signals transmit particle
count data from two channels. This data is typically collected and processed by a SCADA
system.
NOTE:
The following chapter only applies to Airnet II 301, 501, 501A, 510 and
510 XR (Polycarbonate enclosure version).
NOTE:
The Airnet II particle sensor can output data to Facility Net software while
it also outputs 4-20 mA signals to a SCADA system.
