Remove any 3” x 2” mount plate used in the spectrometer.
Place the Selector™ baseplate into the sample compartment with the sample holder
post (

) to the front of the compartment.
The baseplate is held in position by two location pins into the front support rail of the
spectrometer and by tightening of the pull down thumb nut (supplied) to the instruments
own fixing screw that passes through the slot at the front of the baseplate.
Fit the L to R Selector™ optical unit (

) in accordance with the instructions on page 14.
