After Use
A few guidelines must be complied with when the work is complete, in order to make sure the Mulcher is stable
when released from the tractor:
•
Move to the storage area of the Mulcher
, making sure that the supporting surface is flat and free from
obstructing material.
•
Place the Mulcher on the ground by lowering the linkages of the tractor lifter.
•
Raise the rear roller so that the Mulcher rests on the skids acting on the three-point hitch.
•
Switch the tractor off and engage the parking brake.
•
Before leaving the driver’s seat of the tractor remove the ignition key from the dashboard.
•
Disconnect the input PTO shaft that connects the gearbox with the tractor PTO.
•
Release the top link from the three-point hitch by releasing the appropriate pins and split pins.
•
Release the chains and tensioners of the tractor lower linkages.
•
Release the pins from the lower linkages by releasing the relevant split pins.
•
Climb into the driver’s seat of the tractor, start up and move the tractor away from the Mulcher.
•
Use the specific supporting feet in the parking position (Figure 14).
Store the equipment, preferably in a covered area
, on a suitable and flat surface. Follow the instructions in the
"2.5.2. Storage" paragraph of this manual.
