Using as a Mulcher
Do not attach the collection bag and the mulching
plug at the same time.
The mulching plug allows the grass clippings to be
deposited back on the lawn during cutting. To install
plug:
i. Lift the safety flap and detach the grass collection
bag.
ii. Lift and hold the safety flap up with one hand.
iii. With other hand grasp plug by its upright handle
and insert the plug into the rear discharge chute.
Ensure that the locking latch snaps into place as
shown in Fig. 13. The mulching plug MUST be
removed if collection bag is used. To remove plug:
iv. Lift and hold the safety flap up with one hand.
v. With other hand squeeze the plug upright handle
to release the locking latch. Pull the plug up and
out of the discharge chute.
