
USING RS232
Settings
The serial baud rate for this protocol is 9,600bps. All serial communications use 8 data bits, no parity and one stop bit (8-N-1).
Serial hardware flow control (i.e., RTS/CTS and DTR/DSR) and software flow control (i.e., XON/XOFF) protocols are not used
and will be ignored.
Programming Commands
All command packets shall be of the following format:
*<command><parameter 1><parameter 2><CR>
Notes: Each <…> represents a single ASCII character. <CR> represents a carriage return.
The Controller will ACK each recognized command with an asterisk (*). The Controller will NACK each unrecognized com-
mand with a period (.).
